O2 have today unveiled two new laptop deals with built-in mobile broadband technology.

The mobile broadband provider is now offering the ultra-thin Asus UL30A laptop and the Samsung N150 netbook on a select number of mobile broadband tariffs.

The new built-in mobile broadband technology means that customers will no longer need a separate mobile broadband dongle, but will instead simply insert their SIM card into the laptop itself.

O2′s head of home and broadband, Felix Geyr commented that:

We know that customers want to be able to click and go without the hassle of having to load up a mobile broadband dongle and our new range will make surfing the web and staying touch even easier.

By purchasing the laptop from O2, customers are benefiting from award winning customer service and a number of additional services that other providers charge for. Now we have our O2 Techies if customers have problems getting started they can contact a technical specialist who can talk them through the start up process for no extra cost. Customers also have access to the widest wifi network in the UK through BT Openzone and The Cloud.

The Samsung N150 includes Windows 7 Starter, a 10.1-inch anti-glare screen and a 250GB hard drive. The laptop is available from O2 as part of a 24 month mobile broadband tariff priced at £25 a month. This includes a 3GB monthly download allowance, along with a 500MB wifi limit.

The Samsung N150 also requires a one-off upfront payment of £29.99.

The Asus UL30A (available from May) includes Windows 7 Premium, a 320GB hard drvie, and a 13.3inch HD display. The Asus is also available as part of a 24 month mobile broadband tariff priced at £30 a month, which includes a 3GB monthly download allowance, and a 750MB wifi limit.

The Asus UL30A also requires a one-off payment of £79.99.
