UK broadband provider Plusnet have today announced the launch of their new broadband price match guarantee.

No matter where you live in the UK, Plusnet will guarantee that they will provide the lowest cost standalone broadband in your area. Full stop.

The broadband price match is only valid for customers who sign-up to Plusnet’s Value Broadband package.

The price match guarantee also covers the total cost of ownership for the broadband service (meaning total subscription and set-up costs) over the length of the competitors contract – up to 24 months.

How does Plusnet’s broadband price match work?

- The price promise is on Plusnet Value Broadband versus the lowest cost standalone broadband product available from a competitor

- It covers the total cost of ownership for broadband (subscription + setup costs) over the competitor contract length, up to 24 months

- The contracts won’t change regardless, with maximum contract tie in still 12 months and a no contract option always available

- Plusnet is already the cheapest broadband provider in Market 3, so nothing will change

- They will be introducing a new price for broadband in some Market 2 exchanges where competitors are currently selling at a lower price

- They will monitor other broadband packages regularly to ensure that they always offer the lowest price on standalone broadband

New Plusnet Value pricing

Plusnet have also announced the introduction of a new third price for Plusnet Value for customers in non-low cost areas. Depending on where a customer lives they will pay either:

1. Plusnet Value £6.49 every month
2. Plusnet Value £6.49 for 3 months then £10.79 (new price point)
3. Plusnet Value £6.49 for 3 months then £12.99

Whilst Plusnet only guarantee prices on the Value package, they will also be offering a lower cost on both Extra & Pro in some Market 2 exchanges where they are cutting the price on Value, so the upgrade is only £5, like today

1. Plusnet Extra £11.49 every month
2. Plusnet Extra £11.49 for 3 months then £15.79 (new price point)
3. Plusnet Extra £11.49 for 3 months then £17.99

Popular broadband provider Plusnet are offering new customers 3 months free broadband with any of their Plusnet Value, Plusnet Extra, and Plusnet Pro packages.

Plusnet Broadband 4 Months Free Offer

Popular UK ISP Plusnet have this week announced a new 4 months free broadband offer for new customers.

New customers who sign up online before May 18th will receive 4 months free broadband which could net them a saving of up to £45 on their bill.

Plusnet currently offer two home broadband packages as standard, these include the Value and Extra packages, with standalone broadband priced from just £6.49 a month.

The Plusnet Value package includes 8Mb broadband with a 10GB monthly download allowance, along with free overnight downloads between midnight and 8am.

The Plusnet Extra bundle features a 20Mb broadband connection with 60GB of monthly download allowance and free off-peak downloads from £11.49.

Plusnet Update Broadband Deals With Free Overnight Downloads

Broadband provider Plusnet have this week refreshed their range of broadband deals.

From April 12th the UK ISP will be removing their Premium broadband package and will instead offer three products – Plusnet Value, Plusnet Pro, and Plusnet Extra.

In the new package update Plusnet are offering customers free overnight downloads between midnight and 8am.

Customers who live inside Plusnet’s local loop unbundled (LLU) network will have the option of signing up to their 8Mb broadband package for just £6.49 a month. However customers who reside outside these areas will pay £6.49 for the first three months and £12.99 a month thereafter.

Plusnet have also re-branded their high end broadband package, swapping the Plusnet Premium package out and replacing it with the new Plusnet Extra package. The new Plusnet Extra tariff includes broadband speeds of up to 20Mb broadband, a 60Gb monthly download allowance, along with free overnight downloads and a static IP address from £11.49 a month.

Again, for those customers living outside of Plusnet’s network will pay £11.49 for the first three months and then £17.99 a month thereafter. All Plusnet packages are also subject to an additional £11.25 a month line rental charge.

Plusnet have also announced that new broadband only customers will no longer be eligible for a free router and set-up, which will now cost £25. However, this doesn’t apply to new customers who sign up to a Plusnet broadband and home phone bundle, those customers will receive the router and connection free of charge.

Plusnet are currently offering new subscribers a 12 month price freeze on their Plusnet Broadband Value package provided they sign up before March 29th.

Plusnet are planning to increase pricing on their broadband services on April 12th which means that their Value package (currently priced at just £5.99 a month) is set to go up in price.

Plusnet have today introduced a number of new packages to their range of business broadband services.

First up is the Plusnet Business Option One package which offers speeds of up to 8Mb, free off-peak usage, a 4-point wireless router, free domain hosting, and dedicated UK-based support available 24/7.

The Plusnet Business Option One deal is available on either 12 or 24 month contracts and is priced from just £10 per month.

For an additional £5 per month, the Plusnet Business Option Two packages includes the same benefits plus 50GB (rather than 10GB) of data usage allowance, and 250MB of webspace, as opposed to 100MB.

Plusnet also have a third option, Plusnet Business Option Three offers all the features of the two previous packages, but priced at £25 per month includes faster upload speeds, unlimited data usage, and extra VoIP minutes.
